VBeam for broken capillaries. Are there different versions of the VBeam laser? Can VBeam cause damage?

A V beam laser is a type of pulsed dye laser, which can be used to treat red areas of the face caused by capillaries. There are other pulsed dye lasers with different names. The one I used is called Perfecta. There is a risk of temporary bruising with any pulsed dye laser, but this issue can be somewhat controlled by the setting that are used. I have never had a patient develop any fat loss from treatment with a pulsed dye laser and I have never seen any long term problems. It is important to use the correct settings to avoid complications however.

Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing.
