In 2009 I had lower jaw surgery on the NHS. Although it worked to improve my bite, there is a "bump" in my jawline. The angle of my chin is huge, leading to a long, recessed chin with a rather ugly jawline. Now I am older I would like to get this fixed, along with a rhinoplasty for my large nose. Would I require full jaw surgery again to improve the angle of my mandible, or is it possible to achieve a desired result through something like genioplasty? I would rather not have orthodontics again.
