If you are considering a BBL, then do not do the lipo alone because you will be tossing out the good fat that could be used for your buttocks.

Fat transfer can be very natural and just enhance or shape or it can be very dramatic. This is up to the patient and whether or not they have the skin quality to accept the fat transfer and enough fat at the time of harvest for a high volume fat transfer. The recovery is harder on the patient if fat transfer is added to the lipo and generally the lipo done for a BBL is more aggressive and is always recommended to be at least 360 lipo. Yes, if you just lipo your flanks/love handles this will be a much more affordable surgery and the recovery will be easier. This is just a personal decision that you must make. You can always get the lipo to your love handles now and if not happy come back for a BBL. The only down fall to that plan is once that fat is thrown away it is gone forever.
