I had a lip lift done 6 months ago and he removed to much skin. He also did my nose and tilted it too much up wards. I struggle to use my upper lip as normal, and it does not look good. I have been devastated ever since my procedure and isolated my self from work and socially. Is there anything I can do to elongate my lip or philtrum? I have already done some fillers in the lip and Botox in the muscle.

Answer: Improving Outcomes After a Lip Lift and Rhinoplasty: Options and Considerations I'm sorry to hear about your experience and the challenges you're facing after your procedures. It's important to know that there are options available to address these concerns, and consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon or a facial plastic specialist can provide you with a personalized plan. Here are some general steps you might consider: Consultation with a Specialist: Seek a second opinion from a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in corrective procedures. They can assess your situation and recommend appropriate interventions. Surgical Revision: For the lip lift, a surgical revision might be possible to adjust the amount of skin removed or to alter the shape. This can help in restoring a more natural appearance and function. Rhinoplasty Revision: For the nose, a revision rhinoplasty can address the tilt and improve the overall aesthetics. This procedure should be performed by a surgeon experienced in complex nasal surgeries. Non-Surgical Options: Continue discussing non-surgical options like fillers and Botox with your specialist. While these are more temporary solutions, they can provide some improvement in appearance and function while you consider surgical options. Physical Therapy: Sometimes, physical therapy or exercises can help improve muscle function and appearance. A specialist can guide you on appropriate exercises. Emotional Support: Consider seeking support from a therapist or counselor to help manage the emotional impact of your experience. Support groups, either online or in-person, can also be beneficial. Remember, it's essential to choose a qualified and experienced practitioner for any further treatment. They can help you understand the risks and benefits of each option and guide you towards the best course of action for your specific needs.
