I've tried most other modalities that have help improve the appearance of my acne scars. I was wondering if tca cross would help? How many sessions? At what strength? I'm middle eastern. I tried to capture the depressed scars in the photos. I think they're mostly level 1 and some level two.
Answer: Recommend doing tca cross followed by Venus viva to help even out skin texture Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: TCA cross for acne scars: How many times ? Tried other modalities for Depressed scars. I prefer a combination of subcision, biostimulating fillers, LASER/FRF "multimodal approach" rather than TCA. The multimodality approach can be highly effective for treating a wide range of depressed scars, and it is often recommended for patients who are looking for a comprehensive and long-lasting solution. While the multimodal approach can be highly effective, it is important to note that it may require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results. The number of treatments required will depend on the severity of the scars, as well as the individual's skin type and overall health. Overall, subcision with fillers and lasers is a powerful tool for treating depressed scars. By combining these modalities, it is possible to achieve a more comprehensive and long-lasting solution for scars that can have a significant impact on a person's self-confidence and overall well-being.

Answer: TCA I would suggest starting with 4 sessions with 25-35% TCA. With 35% TCA, I would pretreat with a skin bleaching cream and stay completely out of the sun.

Answer: TCA CROSS For Ice Pick Scars In ll All Skin Types TCA CROSS, which I have been employing with gratifying results for over twenty-three years, works well for ice pick scars and dilated pores in all skin types. I have continued to use the TCA 100% concentration originally used by the South Korean physicians who developed this technque for South Korean women with ice pick scars well over two decades ago. I am no surprised with your disappointment with the other approaches you likely used beforehand, such as fraxel lasers or RF microneedling, as these expensive bells and whistles are much more backed by social media hype than any hard science. Sorry. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
