I had an open rhinoplasty one month ago. My dorsal was shaved, alar base reduction, and narrowing of the bone and bridge. Usually once a week after I exfoliate I steam my face for about 10 minutes. Is that ok to do that one month post op?

If too much turbinate tissue is removed from your nose, that may lead to nasal dryness. If your nasolacrimal duct was blocked after your turbinate surgery, you would expect to see epiphora - too much tearing. Consider consulting with a reputable ophthalmologist for evaluation of your concerns....

At this stage you don't need to worry too much. Especially after you had your nose broken you can expect a lot of swelling. It is only 11 days after your surgery so things will get better. Stay in touch with your surgeon and be patient. After about 6 months you will see the more definite...
Thank you for your query.It is way too early to be carrying out any sort of analysis. You should not do this for at least 6 months as your nose will continue to change over the course of the next 12 months.A lot of patience is required. Hope that helps.
