What's your advice for this necrosis or bruise after Bellafill in my nose? (Photos)

Hi there. I had some Bellafill injected into my top of the nose (.2) and I immediately had a dark bruise appear and some redness further up the nose. That was on Wednesday. It’s Monday now and the same color, appears to be getting lighter. I went to the emergency room and wanted to do hyperbaric oxygen but they did not allow me to do it. I’ve been applying nitro paste, taking anti biotice and warm compresses. I’m so scared something bad will happen. Advice please?

Our office specializes in the removal of PMMA fillers from the buttocks. As we have seen, these fillers can cause longterm complications including granuloma formation. I would not suggest these injections for soft tissue of the body. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

A small amount of filler placed correctly can mimic a rhinoplasty for certain conditions such as a dorsal hump.  Bellafill is a permanent filler.  I would suggest a hyaluronic acid filler first because HA fillers can be reversed.
