In addition to regularly scheduled follow up visits there will be additional visits should any complications or questions arise. Your surgeon may be able to work with you for some of the visits by having them via video conference.

In my own practice I see patients fairly frequently. In the first two weeks usually three visits and afterwards a week or so at a time until the patients are six weeks out. They are free to come to the office is often as they wish.
