I just turned 40 and want tighten up my jawline. I'm debating between taking the plunge on a neck lift but hesitant on the number of surgeries one can get before looking fake. Would FaceTite make a big enough difference to consider as alternative and could it impact the success of a future facelift?
Answer: Neck Sag -- Fillers Like Belotero, Silk; Fraxel or Erbium Laser; Botox/Dysport/Xeomin; Sagging needs Neck Lift, Renvion/Vaser it depends on the level of results you are looking for many of my patients will do facetite , threads and morpheus and be very happy. but if there is enough sagging, doing an early lift wont hurt. we do all this in my practice so Id suggest you get a formal consult and go over all your options. With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach: 1. micro needling and lasers for texture 2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands 3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting 4. fillers like belotero, restylane silk, juvederm volbella to improve lines and folds 5. neck/face lifting if sagging is prominent or early starting +/- platysmaplasty (muscle tightening) 6. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening 7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening 8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness 9. PDO novathreads or silhouette instalift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen production see an expert for a full evaluation and treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: FaceTite versus Neck Lift The decision about whether it is best to perform a surgical procedure like a neck lift versus a minimally invasive approach such as FaceTite depends on several factors. These include the extent of the aging changes in the face and neck, the expectations of the patient for improvement, downtime, and potential risks of each approach. The outcome of the two options is not equivalent and surgery remains the gold standard. However, meaningful improvements can be achieved with the delivery of radiofrequency energy via FaceTite to trigger a skin tightening response accompanied by improvement in skin quality. It is best to schedule a consult with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to evaluate you and discuss which approach would be advisable in your specific case.

Answer: Neck lift or FaceTite? In general, surgical results are always more dramatic than non-surgical options. FaceTite can produce improvement in the lower face and neck, but the results from a neck or face lift would be greater. Ultimately, an examination or at least photos of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for either procedure. Having a FaceTite procedure should not influence the ability to have a face or neck lift at a future time.
