Dome sutures too tight rhinoplasty. Can they be loosened or undone?

I feel like my surgeon sutured my tip way too tight. Now it looks really pointy and awkward. What can be done to fix this? Can they be loosened or undone? How can I make my nose look less operated on? And should I get a revision by the same surgeon, or should I seek a revision specialist?The tip cartilages from the front also protrude and make a circle on the tip of my nose but the surgeon says they are "suture knots" and swelling. How likely is that to be the case? Is fascia enough to fix this

Thank you for your question. It is common to have swelling post rhinoplasty and as this settles, which can take months, the shape of the nose changes slightly. So the final result is not apparent till all the swelling has resolved. If you have any concerns about the sutures, it would be best to see your surgeon, as he/she would be familiar with the surgery.

Sorry for your problem but more information and an examination is needed to give accurate advice like how long ago your surgery was performed.  That said if you have concerns relate them to your surgeon or get your records and pre op photos and go on some complimentary consultations with experts and get a second opinion Dr Corbin

I'm sorry you don't like your rhinoplasty result but I cannot evaluate your tip with these pictures. Yes, tip sutures can be removed or changed but I don't know if that is the cause of your problem. I recommend you discuss this with your surgeon or get a second opinion from a revision rhinoplasty specialist.
