I am 3 weeks post-op and had an open septorhinoplasty with osteotomies, as well as tip reduction and a graft. I currently have no pain, my scar is healing really nicely. I even blew my nose for the first time today! When can I use a nose pore strip to remove some of my blackheads? I had a lot of dry skin after my cast came off, but I have been moisturizing and the dryness has completely cleared up. My only skin issue now is a ton of blackheads occupying almost all of the pores on my nose,

Post-operative swelling lasts up to 1 year, depending on the skin condition, but after 6 months, the swelling heals greatly, we occasionally apply steriod injection to our patients, if the swelling continues for too long, our suggestions to all our patients for swelling are to wait up to 1 year....
It may be displaced cartilage or scar tissue. Either way, it can be treated once the proper diagnosis is made. Sometimes steroid injections can reduce scar tissue as well.
