When can I use pore strips after my rhinoplasty?

Thank you for your question. You are still a bit early in your recovery process. I would wait to use pore strips and let the skin on the nose heal. The nasal skin is separated from the underlying structures during a rhinoplasty.  During healing, it is extremely important to allow the skin to heal and re-adhere to the underlying structures.  Using a pore strip will do the exact opposite by pulling the skin away from the underlying structures as you peel it off.  This may cause additional swelling, delay healing, and in the worst case scenario, may compromise your result.I do not allow patients to use pore strips for 12 weeks following rhinoplasty for this reason.  While blackheads are certainly not appealing, they are only temporary.  I recommend that you hold off and be patient.
