Just noticed a 'flat' spot that's appeared yesterday on the lower side of my left breast and concerned. Wondering if my sports bra is causing this? I'm 2.5 weeks post op with 800cc high profile silicone. Any help in explaining possible cause appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Answer: Suture dimple The most likely cause of the depression is one of the sutures that was used to close the pocket after your breast augmentation. Fortunately these are almost always absorbable sutures, and the issue should resolve spontaneously as the suture resorts. Gentle downward pressure on your implant in the meantime may help speed the process. Follow up with your plastic surgeon if the area does not resolve.

Answer: Flat spot Hello,I believe it is being caused by sutures that closed your inframammary incision. These sutures are always absorbable, and that flat spot will be gone in a month or two. Your very large implants will round your inframammary fold out nicely with time.Best of luck!
