I have noticed since adolescence that my nose has been crooked. I have debated having a rhinoplasty to straighten my nose but am curious if a septoplasty, possibly covered my insurance, would fix my nose. I do not really experience problems associated with a deviated septum, the appearance is the most unpleasing part.

Your CT scan does show a deviated nasal septum to your left side, and this could be responsible for a crooked nasal appearance. In our experience, when a deviated nasal septum causes a crooked nasal appearance, cartilage grafting in the way of spreader grafts may be necessary to restore a straight nasal appearance. The CT scan shows a significantly deviated septum and a septoplasty would help.  This might not be all that is needed.   In most cases a rhinoplasty is needed as well.

Yes, your septum is deviated but if you do not have any septal issues then insurance will not cover the procedure.  You may benefit from a cosmetic rhinoplasty/septoplasty.

Your septum is deviated, but, if you have no symptoms from it then you are ok leaving it alone. Straightening the exterior nose will likely involve straightening the septum as well.

Your septum is certainly crooked. However a septoplasty alone will not straighten your nose. Even with a full rhinoplasty getting a straight nose is difficult

You have a deviated septum on your CAT scan, and a deviated nose externally. A septoplasty can straighten the internal portion of your nose for breathing purposes, however a cosmetic rhinoplasty is required to straighten the External portion of your nose. Both procedures can be performed together under one anesthesia with one recovery period. Expect to pay for the cosmetic rhinoplasty yourself
