Retin A ruined my life, ate up facial fats, left me with blackheads & facial hair. Left side of face is hollow. Can it be fixed?

my Gp prescribed retinA o.05.I applied it to my face every night.4 months Later i notice a significant amount of fat loss but my Gp assured me that retinA wasn't the cause.He advised me to continue using it which i did. But after 2mths my husband told me my eyes looked so hollow;my cheeks that were once chubby were gone. I like sleeping on my left side which sweats a lot.My face looked more slimmer on the left side and i have blackheads and large pores all over. How can i reverse this naturally?

Hi In my experience I have never seen or heard of such side effects caused by Retin A.Look at other changes and aspects of your lifestyle and you may fine an answer there. I understand  this must be distressing for you however I do not know what is causing this problem and there may be an underlying issue.POlease seek medical attention

I have been using this medication for around 40 years.  I have never even come close to seeing any side effects as you describe.  I do not know what is happening to your face, but I can tell you to a huge degree of certainty, that it does not sound like anything to do with Retin-A.Please see a doctor about this.
