How much out of pocket does generic retain A (tretinoin) cost?

Hello. I'm 46 years old and got a prescription for generic retain A. I knew that after a certain age insurance doesn't cover it but I was shocked when the pharmacist said it would cost a couple of hundred bucks!?!? is it possible that the prescription was written wrong or is it really that much out of pocket?

Thank you for the question.Retin A does not need to be washed off.Be sure to use a moisturizer with SPF each morning.Hope this helps

Retin A is an excellent anti-aging product. If you are discontinuing use, you may want to use a ceramide moisturizer such as Elevase Moisture Booster and use Retin A once weekly. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
