What you have experienced is the very nature of fat transfer. Many times must if the fat goes away. I also think 500 cc per breast was too much at one time for that much fat to be retained.

Yes! Fat grafting is always limited to how much breast tissue you already have. If you try to transfer too much fat all at once to a small area, you can lose a large amount of fat. If you build the amount of breast tissue you have with fat transfer, there is more space to place fat during a subsequent fat transfer. For this reason fat transfer works really well when done more than once because you can 'build up' an area.

The older we are, the less transferred fat is retained. Even in the best hands, not all fat remains that is transferred. You probably would retain more with a smaller volume added.
