Will getting a thight lift after already having a bbl negatively affect the bbl results? I had a mommy makeover 1st and then a BBL. I’m not happy at all with my BBL results but I was told that’s bc I didn’t have enough fat due to my mmo. I would like a thigh lift but don’t want to negatively affect anything I’ve already had done. I’m 5’4’, 165lbs
Answer: Can a thigh lift be performed after a BBL? Yes, you can have a thigh lift if you've had a prior BBL. There are different degrees of thigh lifts that have different incision patterns. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to see what is recommended for you based on your surgical goals.

Answer: Thigh Lift After a BBL - Will it Affect Your Results? Thank you for your question regarding whether you can get a thigh lift after a BBL. The quick answer is yes; you can have a thigh lift after a BBL. During a thigh lift, or more accurately, a thigh lift and reduction, skin and fat are typically removed from the thigh. There are five types of thigh lift/thigh reductions: crescent thigh lift, modified longitudinal vertical thigh lift, t-incision medial thigh lift, and a lateral thigh lift. Each thigh lift has its own indications. The most common thigh lift procedure performed is the longitudinal medial vertical thigh lift with an incision from the groin to the knee. This is typically combined with liposuction. This procedure will not impact your BBL results. Even though you’ll be laying on your buttock for approximately two weeks while you recover from your thigh lift, it should not impact your BBL. Indeed, you may want to ask your plastic surgeon if the fat from the thigh lift can be inserted into the buttock as opposed to throwing it away. Therefore, you could have even more BBL added during your thigh lift reduction. I hope this helps answer your question regarding whether it’s a Lyft or the reduction that negatively impact your BBL results. Good luck. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Yes you can! Having a thigh lift performed after BBL should not adversely affect the BBL results, and in many circumstances can enhance the BBL results. If excess thigh skin and fat are present, they distract from buttock aesthetic, particularly in the posterior medial thigh (thigh gap) region. Removal of the excess skin and fat can reduce or eliminate redundancy and improve the overall appearance of the lower extremity.
