Would Botox be a good option for me, and where do I need it? (photos)

Hi @Glorious282189! I recommend Botox to treat the wrinkles on your forehead (frontalis muscle) and glabella region (between your eyebrows). For the tear trough area, I would recommend fillers (Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Defyne, or regular Restylane). If you notice swelling in the morning upon waking up or swell after a night of drinking, you may not be a great candidate for under eye filler. Another non-surgical option to help with the hollowing of the under eyes would be PRP injections. PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is highly effective for restoring sunken eyes. Generally, two vials of blood will be collected from the patient and placed into a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins and separates the platelets from the rest of the blood components. The plasma contains the valuable collagen and growth factors from the rest of the blood's components. The plasma is then drawn up into a syringe and injected in the tear trough area. In terms of skin texture, a good treatment option would be micro-needling. However, due to your history of melasma, I would go to a very knowledgable practitioner if you do a microneedling treatment with radiofrency. Melanocytes live on the most superficial layer of your skin and a radiofrequency microneedling device like Morpheus 8 may cause your melasma to activate. That being said, you are still a candidate for RF microneedling. I would just recommend that the practitioner is very conservative with your treatment. After reading your post and looking at your photos, you seem to have a few different areas of concern. I will start by answering your Botox question. I think if you did some in your glabellar and forehead areas, you would have an awesome result seeing as the wrinkles there are not very deep or prominent. In regards to the under eye area, you can try microneedling with PRP to help with the darkness and skin texture. Filler in the area is also an option, just go slow with it. In regards to the your other skin issues (acne scarring, melasma, sun spots, etc) there are a host of different treatments and modalities available that can help with those issues. Some may require some microneedling and PRP and some may require lasers vs peels. I would recommend making an appointment with a med spa. injector and aesthetician near you to get some treatment ideas
