Thank you for your question. The best non-surgical treatment for changing the appearance of your nose would be liquid rhinoplasty. This option uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler to minimize bumps and correct asymmetries to bring your nose into balance with the rest of your facial features. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced expert injector. They will be able to discuss your concerns with you and determine the best treatment option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi @Inventive806760! This is an excellent question. The nasal tip is made up of cartilage and soft tissue, therefore, Botox would not be helpful. Neurotoxins like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin work by weakening muscle activity. The solution would be a rhinoplasty. Best of luck to you!
The bulbous nasal tip is caused by large cartilages that create the anatomic deformity that you see. Neurotoxins are utilized to weaken muscles in the face. Therefore, the toxin will have no effect on the cartilage and is typically not useful in treating a bulbous nasal tip. This deformity is typically treated only by rhinoplasty.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately botox would not be helpful, as most of the tip consists of cartilage and soft tissue. Non invasive options could include a retinoic acid derivative or isotretinoin. Depending on anatomy however, surgery may be the best option. I hope this is helpful, and all the best to you.-Dr. P
Nose tip anatomy is based on cartilages and skin. Only with properly planed and executed surgery (tip rhinoplasty) these structures can be changed and adjusted as needed. There is nothing that can be treated with Botox or other non surgical techniques, unfortunatelly.
Hi that is a great question! Yes, botox can help with a bulbous nose. On average I would treat the area with six to eight units of botox. Botox for the nasal tip would be a great nonsurgical option. Another nonsurgical option would be filler which would be considered a liquid rhinoplasty. I recommend having a consultation with an experienced injector.
Hello! I would suggest trying Botox in an off-label treatment to the nasalis muscle. This muscle is responsible for the flaring of the nostrils. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your question and photo. If the forehead wrinkles are present without muscle movement, Botox is unlikely to diminish their appearance. Though you’re already doing microneedling treatments at home, you may benefit from RF microneedling to reduce the appearance of these wrinkles. T...
There are usually no cross reactions between these two injectables. Any type of monoclonal antibody shot can make you more susceptible to certain infections, so make sure that you notify your injector of this and any other medication that you utilize.
