Why did my BBL fat travel down to the back of my leg? (Photo)

Question

I had a BBL and after 2 weeks the fat traveled down to my leg. Why did this happen? I am now 6 months post operation and there's a big ball of fat in one leg only and my right butt cheek is smaller than my left too. I had the BBL done twice and both with same results. What would your recommendations be to fix this?

Thanks for your post. It is impossible to tell from photos just what is going on there. The problem of fat forming a big ball in your leg is a very unusual if not impossible problem to have after BBL. Fat that is transferred correctly is placed in small amounts surrounded by your normal tissues in your buttocks, so it cannot travel or form large masses like that. Or maybe fat was placed in your thigh? If this is a recurrent problem, you should have a visit with an American Board of Plastic Surgery/ ASAPS surgeon who performs BBL frequently. There may be something else going on as well, such as a benign tumor on that area. Best to get it checked out in person.
