Is a BBL safe for a patient with muscular glutes? (Photos)

Fat embolism is a big issue around BBL surgery. Awareness for that has increased dramatically due to recent publications reporting fatal incidences.This to the bad news. The good news is it is easy to avoid. Firstly by staying away from the muscle and secondly using the so called "EVL" injection technique invented by US surgeon Dr.Daniel del Vecchio.EVL combines blunt tip vibrating  basket cannulas and moderate flow injection pumps.This has been a great advance for BBL surgery. Make sure you that you find a surgeons who has a lot of experience and can credibly demonstrate that has not only logged hundreds of cases, but also keeps doing this continously. This is surgery has become very fashionable and unfortunately many surgeons start doing this in a kind of "trial and error" approach and this contributes to adverse incidences. Stay safe.

A large part of aesthetics is proportions, and just trimming down your flanks and abdomen would make your buttocks look larger as well. Thanks for your question.You're not at increased risk of getting a fat embolism compared to other patients if the fat is placed over the muscle. You appear to have enough room to inject fat in that department. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Although it is hard to give you an accurate advice without a proper in person consultation, You are a perfect candidate to do a BBL, you can get Liposuction on your abdomen, waist, lower and upper back, those areas can easily be treated with Liposuction to get the results you wish, the fat grafting into the buttocks can me place above the muscle to expect less complications on your recovery.

hello thank you for sharing your questionto give you a better opinion, the best would be a personal evaluation, and as I see in your photosyou are a good candidate for liposuction of the back, flanks and abdomen + fat infiltration in the buttocks and hips, in your case you have a developed gluteus muscle, you do not need to place fat under the muscle, just place the fat above the muscle and this decreases the chances of troboembolism, that's my opinion.the most important thing is that you go to a certified plastic surgeon
