A breast reduction and a lift without implants would be a great operation for you. The symmetry can be improved as well.
Yes, you will look wonderful with a reduction procedure without the need for implants because you have plenty of breast tissue. In general, a breast reduction procedure reduces AND lifts your breasts. The reduction part of the procedure removes portions of your breast tissue that contribute to the heaviness of your breasts and the lift portion of the procedure moves your nipple/areola to a higher position and tightens the skin of your breast. This skin tightening moves and supports the remaining deeper breast tissue, pushing it higher making the top of your breasts fuller. After this surgery you should have a smaller, perkier, lighter pair of breasts. Breast reduction patients are one of my happiest group of patients for all those reasons. Good luck!Dr. Taylor
You are a great candidate for a breastreduction. No need for implants as you will have a nice, proportionate perkybreast with natural shape. Gook luck in your search for a board certifiedplastic surgeon; you will not be disappointed with the results!
A breast reduction will also give you a breast lift. You will be very pleased with the results.
You have a nice shape with a youthful amount of breast tissue in the upper half of your breast. Many breast reduction techniques lift and reduce while preserving breast tissue in the upper pole. You should get a lovely result without an implant.
Breast implants are only used to increase the volume, if you have enough volume to need a reduction, then you do not need an implant, some doctors will tell you that you need a small implant to obtain upper pole fullness, that usually is not necessary. Look at before and after pictures of patients with similar body shape and be sure to seek a American board of plastic surgery certified surgeon.
Thanks for your question. You are an excellent candidate for a breast reduction, which will give you a lift at the same time. Good Luck!!
ABSOLUTELY! Why even think you need implants are reviewing the photos posted here on RealSelf... /////
Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your description, you may be a good candidate for breast reduction surgery. Breast implants are not necessary. “Official” recommendations of course would necessitate in-person consultation.Breast reduction surgery is one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. By removing “excess” breast tissue, adipose tissue, and breast skin this operation reduces AND lifts the breasts to a higher position on the chest wall (in other words, the breasts are "automatically" lifted when a breast reduction is performed). By doing so, patients often find improvement in neck, back, and shoulder discomfort and find it easier to form their activities of daily living and exercise.Timing of the operation will depend on the patient's life circumstances. Sometimes breast reduction surgery is covered through health insurance. The best way to obtain insurance coverage for breast reduction surgery involves some “hoops” to jump through. The more documentation you have (for example, from your primary care doctor, physical therapist, chiropractor etc.) the better when it comes to obtaining insurance “authorization” for the procedure. This documentation and letter/pictures from your plastic surgeon will help you obtain authorization. When the time is right, seek consultation with well-trained/experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and communicate your goals clearly.I hope this, and the attached link, helps.
A breast reduction would be an excellent option for you. More would have to be removed from your right breast to achieve symmetry. It appears that you have dense breasts which is an advantage in attaining a more full appearance (implant-like) after a reduction.Quintessa Miller MD FACS
I am so sorry to hear of your experience. Insurance companies vary and can often make it very difficult to provide coverage for surgery especially if they believe it is for cosmetic reasons. There is a reduction classification system called the schnur index which correlates body mass index and...
Yes an infection is possible at any time. With the symptoms you mentioned I would make an appointment to see your plastic surgeon as soon as possible.
Back pain, neck pain, shoulder grooving, rashes between and under the breasts, and numbness of the hands are some of the most common symptoms of breast enlargement. The symptoms are caused by the excessive weight of the breast tissue and the impact it has on your posture. A breast...
