every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

This question must be answered by your surgeon as opinions vary. It is also important that your surgeon be aware of all medications including prescription, over the counter, and supplements that you take. Your surgeon will advise if it is safe for you to continue with the medication as well as if/when it should be stopped.

Flexeril works on the pain receptors and has no bleeding issues so it is safe to take before a surgical procedure. You must make sure the physician is OK with this as well (I'm aware you spoke with a nurse).

Hi and welcome to our forum!Although there is no absolute contraindication to concommitant administration of cyclobenzaprine and general anesthesia, it is best to speak with your plastic surgeon to get his "blessing" prior to performance of the procedure. Best wishes...
