Eyebrow, eyelid and browbone asymmetry. Options?

Hey As you see i have some asymmetry going on around my eyes-eyebrows. But i don’t know what it is. I want to know what the permanent and non-permanent solutions are. I know the asymmetry is not crazy but it doesn’t have to be crazy for improvement. Thanks

Hi Letitchange,Great question.  Here are your options from least to most invasive.Find an experienced eyebrow threader/waxer to shape the eyebrows so they are on the same levelHave an experienced injector place botox above the higher brow (realize, though, when you make facial expression, this brow won't be able to move as much)Have an experienced surgeon perform a surgical brow lift to the side that is lower.Hope that helps.Dr. Jay

Very difficult to tell from these photos the cause of the asymmetry which could be from bony orbit, eyelid, or eyeballs. See an oculoplastics specialist for evaluation.

The best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options. Based on the photo, you may benefit from a brow lift with brow shaping.

Asymmetry is normal and because you stare at you brows, you notice it more that anyone else.  From your pictures, you may get the best symmetry by just having your heavy brows shaped to give a more symmetric look.  Botox or browlift will not likely give you the symmetry you seek.

First of all, no face on earth is perfectly symmetric. Faces are naturally beautiful and individual based on the small asymmetries that we all possess.Having said that, we have a variety of treatment options to consider to help improve overall symmetry.  For brow asymmetry, a careful amount of Botox in select areas is an excellent option for a safe, temporary treatment.A browlift to address asymmetry is a good surgical option that is permanent.  Most commonly, a direct browlift is used, which includes an incision just above the eyebrow that is lower. This is a fairly straightforward procedure that can be done in the office.I recommend you see a facial plastic surgeon or other surgeon who specializes in the face to discuss your options and decide on which option is best for you.Best of luck!

For cases like this, an in person evaluation is critical to assess exactly what is causing the asymmetry and also to discus your goals. Everyone has some facial asymmetry. You are not alone. Botox can be used to correct brow positions quite nicely. Your other option is brow grooming or shaping. Typically an Aesthetian does this type of procedure. Best of luck!
