Thanks for your question! You do not have symmastia currently nor does it appear that will be an issue. I would suggest reaching out to your plastic surgeon with your concerns! He/she may be able to put your mind at ease. Good luck!

Hello thank you for your question and congratulations on the pregnancy. If you already had this to start with it will not improve with time nor should it worsen with time unless a surgeon goes in and releases the muscle insertion and the tissue in the center. Your pregnancy will not worsen the symmastia but your breast will enlarge and you may think that the breasts have become closer together because of the extra tissue. Synmastia is rare. I’ve never seen a case but it seems women worry too much about it because of what they read on the internet. Don’t worry about it.

From the provided photos there is a distinct pocket for each breast and no signs of symmastia. If you begin noticing the section between your breasts "lifting" or "tenting" visit with your surgeon for an evaluation.

Although you are narrow, you are fine and do not have symmastia. Most ladies do not get this even when milk comes in. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

There are a number of factors which can cause symmastia ("uniboob"). Your pre-surgical anatomy, closeness of implant placements, and tight bras compressing the implants can all be issues. If you are acutely concerned about this issue, you would benefit from an examination and a candid discussion with your plastic surgeon at a consultation. To maintain your desired outcome, your surgeon may have constructivbe suggestions.
