Tummy tuck and muscle repair. I hate my result

Question

Hi I got a tummy tuck and muscle repair 2 weeks ago and from I got the bandage off I have not stopped crying. I hate the result my hip look very very big and now am left with and over hang of the hips. The surgeon said to me at the start it would be full tummy tuck liposuction and muscle repair on the day of surgery he said no he was not going Lipo with muscle repair. Is this not wrong ? I also hate my belly button so much am so uncomfortable with my body now

In the early post operative period, it is not uncommon to have doubts or mild depression about your decision to have cosmetic surgery.  You are very early in your recovery period.  Your results will likely continue to improve and become part of your new body image.  Schedule an appointment with your plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.

Hi lisaPlease catch your breath, and sort this out.First, you are only two weeks out, so you should expect to see improvement over the months to come.Next, what did you sign on the consent?  A tummy tuck is a contouring operation that includes removal of tissue AND muscle repair (by definition).  What exactly did the doctor do?  He should have done exactly what was consented to.Finally, if you remain unhappy as time goes by, you may consider having a secondary procedure.  Not what you wanted to hear, but at least you know that you don't have to live unhappy.sek
