It would be difficult to say how long you should wait before returning to your prior physical activity. The medical provider that did the injection would be your best resource of information. It is also indeed good to emphasize that liposuction is the gold standard of fat removal and has been proven to be effective more than the other treatment options. 

you should ask your provider.I worry a little bit about this treatment option for abdominal fat removal being somewhat inaccurate and potentially ineffective.because the response to the injection happens down the line the provider really has no idea how much fat will be removed from the treatment. If more fat gets removed than anticipated it will leave defects that can’t be repaired.usually it’s the other way.it can be also difficult to blend appropriately into adjacent areas. Liposuction is the gold standard but hopefully you had a good provider with lots of experience and you’ll get a nice results.I don’t think exercise will change this.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
