I was inquiring if there is a surgery that can have the cartilage ( root of the helix?) to become closer to the head? I have large ears and one that section of my ear to become closer to my head due to them sticking out. Otoplasty was not an option per a local surgeon.

I suggest you go on consults with surgeons who do otoplasty often. It will definitely rely require incisions and permanent sutures if you want it to work
