I was charged $7500 for ear pinning but was unhappy with the results as my ears were still quite large though pinned back. I requested for a reduction and again was charged 5000 for this. Is this right ? I feel the additional cost should have been minimal and feel very cheated for having to pay 12,500 for such a basic procedure. Both procedures were done within a short interval. Hoping for thoughts here. Thanks

Very common my daughter has them too. I have been asked to remove them but I don’t. And I have a lot of experience with ear surgery. Trying to get the contour looking natural and seamless will be tough. You’re better off leaving them
This is definitely doable by a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in performing cosmetic ear surgery. This would be ear reshaping surgery, which would involve modifying the structure of the ear so that it doesn’t curve inward.
Each surgeon has their own post-op instructions. It is not uncommon for surgeons to ask their patients to avoid wearing headphones, or any other items that press against the ears, for a week or more after surgery. It would be best to ask your surgeon for their opinion.
