Is BBL possible with an inflammatory bowel disease?

I have this disease But it is not active at the moment. I want to do a bbl surgery But currently Im using medicines that suppresses My immune system. The doctor Told me that if i want to do the surgery, i have to stop with the medication for 2 weeks (because otherwise i have more chance to get an infection) Are the chances very high? What do you recommend?

Thanks for your question.In general, an elective surgery such as a BBL should be performed when pre-existing medical conditions are well-controlled. If you are requiring these anti-inflammatory medications, then it's probably not a good idea to get a BBL at this time. Some of these medications can cause excessive bleeding so in general, they need to be stopped. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
