A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.
Thank you for your question. Compression after surgery is very important. I recommend you let your doctor know and get a garment that compresses appropriately. Good luck!
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. It is important for the compression garment to be very tight, for it to help with the swelling, after surgery. Please, follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
I would recommend consulting your surgeon and getting a new garment that appropriate for your size as soon as possible. Post op compression garments are important to keep the swelling down in the liposuction areas.
Every patient shrinks at a different rate and it sounds like you are moving on the faster end...which can be a good thing because swelling is what makes it take 6-8 weeks for the BBL to look good. Reach out to your PS to see if they want you to get a smaller garment asap. In my practice we stock garments, so when patients come for follow up and their garment is too big, they can purchase a smaller one. It is also an option to find a more affordable option on-line. Make sure the style/cut of the garment is approved by your PS.
Greetings. Thank you for the question. Since your faja may be large, it would be wise to contact your surgeon's office and inform the staff of the situation. They may have some recommendations and they may want to see you in follow up. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question! For my patients having a BBL, I recommend they stay off of their butt completely for the first 10 days post op, then use a BBL pillow for 3 weeks. After that, they have no more sitting restrictions and it is safe to sit on their butt. I recommend discussing specific...
Sickle cell trait is usually okay for surgery. There are some rare cases reported where patients can have issues after the stress of surgery. I have done a BBL on a few patients with sickle cell trait with no issues. I did have both get "clearance" from their PCP prior to surgery.
