You should call your surgeon about this. These are the questions that he/she expects you to have and it is best directed to your surgeon. You may benefit from some stool softeners. You may also need to be examined to make sure everything is ok, given that you are feeling so dizzy. Call your surgeon.....this is part of the service you paid for.

Some activities of daily living cannot be avoided. Go right ahead. These postop issues should have been reviewed during your preop session or in your postop instructions. Best wishes on your recovery.
