TT post-op 5 weeks. I have a seroma found by CT scan and now have a big open wound and a small one, is it an infection? (photos)

Tummy tuck post OP 5 weeks I have a seroma found by a ct scan and now have a open wound this morning a small wound opened and started draining it looks like puss my bigger wound hurts is draining a lot I change it 3-4times a day with a thick pad I'm so frustrated my surgeon says it not infected but it sticks I been packing the big one with gauze a big pad and tape

Thank for your question. You are still healing, so you might see some continued improvements over the next few months. However, I'd bet that your surgeon made your muscles as tight as they could be. What you are experiencing might just mean that you have a higher component of "intra-abdominal"...

Medications given in surgery, change in activity level and diet, and narcotics can slow your normal bowel habits. Even if you can't physically see your surgeon I advise that you call her/him for guidance. You can review the interventions you've tried and determine next steps.
