QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Do I need a tummy tuck as they didn’t even mention a tummy tuck and rather J-plasma or skin tightening? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) will remove the skin and smooth out your abdominal wall. Note it will also remove your tattoo. The other procedures you mention will help tighten your skin, but not as much as tummy tuck.

Can I have a breast augmentation after having lung surgery?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

If you are past the pneumothorax problem, you should be OK for breast surgery. You are at slightly increased risk of recurrence of pneumothorax with general anesthesia. You should get cleared for surgery by your primary care or lung doctor.

18, I’ve done my research on asymmetrical breasts and understand it's normal, but mine feels/looks more severe

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Most women have breasts that are not the same size. I find it very rare that a woman will have breasts that are equal in size and shape. We attempt to make the breasts closer in size and shape to each other with surgery, including implants and reduction, but even still after surgery they will be closer in size and shape, but not perfectly equal.

Abdomen liposuction: is there any way to determine if your skin will sag?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Impossible to know without seeing you, but in general younger women have better elasticity to skin, and it will contract, older women, less so, and end up with more sagging skin.

2nd opinion request: Should I get a breast lift after I had a reduction? I am currently happy. (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Typically a breast reduction does the lift as well. If you are happy with results, than why do anything more? In the future you may need a lift, but I woundn't recommend doing anything now.

Weight loss after a breast reduction (I'm 5'4 and currently 145 lbs)?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Breasts may decrease in size if there is weight loss after breast reduction. I recommend to my patients that they lose the weight first, then have the reduction, which also gives a lift to the breasts.

I've lost 50 lbs. If I have a panniculectomy soon, could I have a second panniculectomy when I lose 50 more pounds?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Difficult to give you a good answer without seeing you or your pictures. I like to have my patients loose all the weight they can before doing surgery, so we can do it once. A panniculectomy can be repeated, but goal is to not.

Range of weight loss expected after Tummy Tuck/Explant? I am 5'6 and 165 lbs. (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Dont expect to loose any weight after TT immediately. In fact surgeon will only remove a couple pounds at the most. You will loose 1-2 pounds from removal of implants. You will gain weight in retained water, that is temporary. Down the road, because your abdomen is now tight, it will stimulate you to loose weight by eating less.

Should I get breast implants or a breast lift? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I dont think you need a lift. Did you have previous surgery? If you are trying to achieve fuller, larger breasts, than you need implants. If you want to reduce your areola size, than can be done as well.

What should I do about an extremely hollow bulge on my stomach? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Difficult to tell from these photos, would also like to know your age and if you are planning on having children. Need to see the quality of your skin, to see how elastic it is. Options are liposuction, or full abdominoplasty.

Bilateral Brachioplasty

I have lost 57 pounds over 11 years, I walk 3 miles 5 times a week and attend hot yoga class 3 times a week, but I was really not happy with my arms. I am 58 yrs old. I had breast reductions about 22 yrs ago, but my health insurance did not cover my side bra fat, so I had it done all at once. Bilateral Brachioplasty - Bilateral Brachioplasty Liposurgery Arms - Liposurgery Arms Liposurgery Anterior Bra Rolls Updated on 18 Jul 2023: I live in south Texas and the temperatures reach 3 digits, now I can shop for sleeveless dresses and blouses, and feel so much better when I see myself in the mirror during my yoga class and in family pictures, I can now wear medium tops. I do not want to change my appearance, I just want to look the best I can for myself.

100% Trust in This Charismatic, Talented Medical Professional

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Friedman and his team! I came in for an abdominoplasty consultation to help fix a horrible scar/disfigurement from an abdominal surgery from when I was younger. I had little confidence and this horrible scar down my stomach, compounded with normal “post pregnancy pooch”, made me feel uncomfortable in my own skin. However, from the initial consultation I felt immediately at ease. Dr. Friedman’s beside manners is one of the best I’ve ever seen from a talented medical professional. He took his time at explaining the procedure and options to me as well as actively listening to all my questions. Never once did he make me feel rushed or dumb in asking my MANY questions. Once I decided to go forward, his entire team made me feel like family. Gloria, Christina, and Ashleigh – they shared my journey with me from beginning to end. Each time I had a follow up appointment, I felt like I was meeting with girlfriends who were genuinely cheering me on and invested in my recovery. Dr. Friedman was available to me post-op as well. He was always available when needed and never made me feel like once the surgery was done, he was done with me. He kept in contact constantly to ensure my recovery was going smoothly. It was hard not to walk out of each appointment without a genuine smile. I also opted for the post-surgery massages with Julian, and I believe those really helped. Thank you, Dr. Friedman, Ms. Kay, Gloria, Christina, Ashleigh, and Julian, for making this the best experience ever and helping me get my confidence back!

He was conscious of making changes that would look natural

After receiving fillers previously elsewhere I decided to give Stadia Med Spa a try after learning they have a Dr doing the procedure. Dr Friedman was great- very patient, took his time, was conscience of making changes that would look natural and not over done and he got the opinion of not one but two of the staff when done for thoughts. Received injections to nasolabial folds, lips (Juvederm) and brow frown (Botox in brow) . The folds and lips look better than the last time I got them a few years ago so his technique is on point. This was a lot to do at once and he was patient if I needed a break and I never felt rushed. I like having a plastic surgeon doing these injections.
