Who is the best BBL doctor to go to?

The best way to select a Plastic Surgeon who will be performing surgery on you would be to :
1) Check the American Society of Plastic Surgery  (ASPS) to find qualified Board Certified Plastic Surgeons (ABPS) in your area.  If the Doctor you choose is NOT Board Certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgery I would highly recommend not to use him/her.
2) Once you narrow your selection down to ASPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeons, I would also recommend for you to set up consultations with several of these doctors, and if they also are Members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that would be another layer of security as to your selection process.  These surgeons would most likely be Fellow Academy College of Surgeons (FACS) members as well.

If your surgeon meets all of these licensing and board certification requirements and if you attend the consult and he/she is ethical, listens to your beauty goals/objectives and gives you realistic expectations about surgery/results, then you will be comfortable with a highly trained/experienced/licensed/board certified Plastic Surgeon who will be the most qualified to handle any plastic surgery procedure with competency/ safety/ while providing good/excellent/ realistic results.

It's important to find a doctor who has performed several BBLs and has the results that you are looking for. I also wouldn't choose a surgeon on cost alone, but it is important to choose one you feel comfortable with. I recommend consulting several surgeons to

There are hundreds of experienced plastic surgeons performing BBL procedures. The better question is whether or not you are a good candidate for this surgery. You can research surgeons through the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery website to find some local to you. I specialize in Brazilian Butt Lift and Body Contouring procedures. I would recommend that you go to The American Society of Plastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeons in your area.  You can call look at before/after pictures on their websites and Real Self pages prior to scheduling your consultations.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

That's a great question. Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field. Hi and thanks for your question.  Please consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon that has extensive experience in BBL and lipo-sculpture. Ask for lots of before and after photos. Also keep in mind that the best patient is one who is healthy with a normal BMI and has realistic expectations. Best wishes!

Choose a board certified plastic surgeon who has done a ton of Brazilian Butt Lifts and has privileges to do this surgery at a local university hospital. This says his credentials have been checked out by fellow Drs. All surgeries carry risk, talk to your plastic surgeon and choose one wisely.  Many surgeons, including myself, offer online virtual consultations where you send us your photos and we can estimate the cost. I, like many surgeons, also offer free consultations so that you can be examined and given the most accurate quote.

Plastic surgery is a crowded field of talent, endurance, perfectionism and ego. To reduce unethical conduct our society expressly forbids us from claiming supremacy or using superlatives. Since we do not hold annual BBL, Tummy Tuck or Facelify competitions no one can claim being the best and those who do are usually NOT plastic surgeons and definitely not the best. So how can one choose? Forget the Internet hype. Begin studying the surgeons in your area and areas you can easily travel to. Read their reviews, their education and their training.
