For as long as I can remember, as long as 6 years, I have had smile lines that persist even when I am not smiling, along with this I have lines under neath my eyes and I'm only 19. What should I do to help this?
Answer: Improving Under Eye & Smile Lines -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP, Sculptra, peels A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. There are a lot of options for improving the smile lines and this often means fillers for the lines themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Answer: Treatment Options for smile/eye lines... Hello & thank you for your question! I understand your frustration. You are not imagining those lines and they are probably genetic. You could certainly treat them would be with dermal fillers. The results are immediate and long lasting. If you would prefer to explore a non-injectable solution first (as you are so young) may I suggest Pelleve, this radio frequency treatment provides instant results and will benefit your skin even if you choose fillers post treatment. I'll link a clip of me discussing Pelleve in more detail below so you can see how non invasive it is. It is very important for fillers (and any other aesthetic treatment you may choose) that you choose an experienced and reputable injector/clinic. Best Wishes, Mr Golchin Dublin | London

Answer: Only 19 I can certainly understand your frustration. You are still fairly young. Those lines are probably genetic. The best way to address them would be with fillers: they're natural, soft, the results are immediate and can persist for up to 2 years! As with all cosmetic treatments, especially fillers, make sure you consult with an expert in facial aesthetics, such as a board-certified dermatologist, to maximize results while minimizing side effects. Don't trust your face to just anyone. The skill of the injector is the most critical factor to helping you achieve the look you desire.

Answer: Fillers for tear trough Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs star201. I understand your concern. Fillers are used to restore lost volume in and enhance the appearance of the face. The tear trough area under the eye is a common concern for people. As we age volume is lost from the fat pads directly under the eyes and in the cheeks/mid-face. This can also be genetic is some cases. To address this deficit, fillers can be placed in these area to restore volume loss. For the tear trough located immediately under the eye I prefer a soft filler such as Restylane. Some people have volume loss below this area as well in the cheeks and require volume restoration to support the tear trough. In these cases I use Voluma to restore volume and provide structural support. Results are seen immediately, although there is some swelling which subsides in approximately 2 weeks. Many people actually enjoy the swelling. The results are assessed with photographs after 2 weeks. At that point more product can be used if further enhancement is desired. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Answer: Smile Line Treatment I use small amounts of Restylane or Vollure made into Micro Dots and injected with a fine gauge needle. This should last about a year and then can be repeated. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD
