Trans woman Asian Mutt 32yrs old 5'7 142lbs I would like wider hips and more volume in my butt - much like a juicy, perky pear. Is this realistic with lipo of fat from back, flanks, abdomen and arms?
Answer: Good candidate for BBL Having performed so many male and female BBLs, this is more dependent upon the individual goals. You can certainly have liposuction to reduce the waist and abdomen and transfer fat from those areas and also from the flanks, back, and arms to the hips and buttocks. About 50% to 70% of the fat survives. Therefore, at least 800 cc needs to be transferred to give a noticeable difference. For more impressive results, you may want to consider 1200 cc or 1500 cc. Answer: As a trans woman of color, am I a good candidate for a BBL procedure? Thank you for your pictures and questions. I think that overall you would be a good candidate for a BBL. Just make sure that you discuss and understand the anatomical differences in your transitioning body and those of the goals you propose. This can affect the overall outcome that is possible based on anatomy.Hope this helps!

Answer: Candidate for BBL Thanks for your question and photos. It's appears a BBL would be a good option for you to achieve the body contouring your looking for. During this procedure, fat is harvested via liposuction from different areas of the body such as waist, back, flanks and thighs and then transferred to the buttocks. I recommend an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate how much fat can be removed at your current size. Then they can also give you a better idea of what the expected results would be.

Answer: BBL Candidate Thank you for your post. Based on your photos it would appear that you would benefit from BBL. Through the liposuction of your abdomen alone you will achieve a more contoured look. Injecting the fat back into your buttocks and hips will add additional volume. If you are looking to achieve more drastic results then you may want to consider buttock implants. It's best to have a thorough in person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss all of your treatment options. Best of luck!
