Xeomin is another alternative to Botox and Dysport. A combination of fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp can also be used to improve wrinkles. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
A good alternative to Botox and Dysport is Xeomin. Every patient is different and react differently to each injectable. I would suggest to try Xeomin and evaluate your results. You can also try different procedures to help with the fine lines, wrinkles, and skin appearance overall, I would say Microneedling with PRP, or Fraxel.
Hi Nikolita. If you need 180 units of Dysport in one area then something is drastically wrong. Either you are resistant to the drug, which we have seen several times in 15 years, or you are not getting the amount of units you have been promised. For the glabella, forehead or outer eyes, we rarely use more than 60 Dysport units for any one area, so if you are saying you are getting all 180 units in one area and it's still not working, you need to try another injector or stop using the product altogether.
You can try Xeonim. This is similar to other neuromodulators, but with a different formulation. If you're troubled by lines and wrinkles then consider fillers and chemical peels. Surgery is always an option too. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
You may want to look into Daxxify. This is a newer neuromodulator on the market and is formulated just a bit differently than Botox and Dysport. It has a longer longevity as well so less frequent treatments are needed. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give you advice without examining you in person. However, if Botox is not working for you and you feel you are receiving too high of a dose of Dysport you can try Xeomin. This is another neuromodulator similar to Dysport and Botox but with a different formulation. I recommend having a follow up with your injector to discuss your concerns. Best of Luck!
It's difficult to answer your question without seeing your before and after treatment photos or the benefit of an in-person exam. If Botox truly does not produce any results, and you feel you are receiving very high doses of Dysport, you may try Xeomin, which is a related neuromodulator medication. You may also do well to research ThermiRase, which is a surgical, longer-lasting treatment for frown lines and certain other areas of muscle activity within the head and neck. Best of luck!
It hard to give you useful recommendations without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. Certain patients such as men and patients who have increased muscle mass do require higher doses. In some cases, Botox/Dysport combined with fillers can lead to a better result. I recommend you schedule an in person consultation with a local experienced aesthetic physician to discuss your options.
Dysport is a great treatment for these areas but it is measured differently than other neurotoxins like Botox or Xeomin. The standard recommendation is 60 units of Dypsort in the frown lines alone with 30-60 units in the forehead area. It could take up to 10 days to see your final result.
Hello and thank you for your question. The eyelid droop will improve with time. You will likely see improvement within 4-6 weeks. Iopidine eye drops may help as well. Dr. Philip Solomon
Thanks for your question. My guess is that you're Dysport is wearing off and some of the muscle movement has returned to part of the glabella muscles. I suggest you see your injector for an evaluation.Good luck. Dr. ALDO
Unfortunately, there is nothing to do to reverse the Dysport you have received. It takes about 3-6 months for Dysport to start to wear off. As each day goes on, the Dysport will start to metabolize by the body and hopefully lessen that "dropped and puffy" appearance. Make sure to always choose ...
I’m sorry about your situation. This is probably swelling since it takes a few days for Dysport to kick in and begin to work. However, it sounds like you need to talk to your injector about your swelling. Don’t forget it takes 2 to 3 days for it to begin working and the maximum effect is at two ...
I appreciate your concern.I do not believe you symptoms are due to Dysport. I suggest, however, that you consult with an ENT physician about your symptoms.Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
