Hi. I met w/ a surgeon 4A hernia repair & tummy tuck (had 5 children). During that consultation we briefly discussed implants. I wanted fat transfer 4A more natural look, but he doesn’t think I have enough fat, & since I don’t need a lift & still have a “bell shape” despite breastfeeding he suggested I look at 210cc implants w/ his coordinators. I felt too big w/210 & like myself w/ 190 but I think they thought that might not solve the wrinkly skin - the whole reason I want implants 2 begin with
Answer: Skin You might want to consider a minimally invasive skin tightening radiofrequency treatment like ThermiTight, and then go with the size you want.

Answer: Mini lift Your breasts are low on the chest wall. A tummy tuck tends to pull the breasts lower on the chest wall. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants can be placed totally submuscular. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast implants The difference between the two sizes you are considering is just over one tablespoon of volume. The implants will provide some improvement as they will fill the skin envelope to some degree. It will not give you much upper pole projection as you are considering low profile conservatively sized implants. Implant selection is a complicated process. I encourage you to visit your surgeon's office again to go over your goals for surgery and further explore the implant options.

Answer: Wrinkly Skin Good morning, Honestly the difference between 190cc and 210cc is almost nothing- a tablespoon perhaps? Any implant in that size range is going to help with the wrinkly skin, no implant in that size range is going to completely resolve it- you would need more volume to do that.

Answer: Implant type Dear bmh4796, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
