I'm 5'5" about 125 lbs, which is about 10 lbs over my normal weight. I'm 57. My weight has redistributed around my stomach and thighs. Same eating pattern but can't lose it! I've had 2 consults, both said lipo not good option for me. One recommended BodyTite. Would it make enough difference? It's expensive. If I have to pay that much wouldn't lipo be better?
Answer: BodyTite BodyTite can be effective for treating dimpling (cellulite) and reducing stubborn fat in the hips and thighs, though its primary benefit lies in fat reduction and skin tightening rather than specifically targeting cellulite. Here’s how BodyTite can address these concerns: Fat Reduction: BodyTite uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to heat and liquefy fat cells, which are then removed through suction. This process can help reduce localized fat deposits in areas such as the hips and thighs, improving overall contour. Skin Tightening: The RF energy of BodyTite also promotes collagen production and tissue contraction, leading to improved skin elasticity and potentially reducing the appearance of mild to moderate skin laxity and dimpling. Cellulite Improvement: While BodyTite can improve skin texture and firmness, its effectiveness in treating cellulite specifically is more limited compared to treatments specifically designed for cellulite reduction, such as Cellfina or certain laser treatments. Customized Treatment: Your plastic surgeon or cosmetic provider can customize BodyTite treatment to address your specific concerns in the hips and thighs. They may recommend combining BodyTite with other treatments or procedures to optimize results for both fat reduction and skin tightening. Expectations and Results: It’s essential to have realistic expectations about what BodyTite can achieve. While it can significantly improve contour and skin texture in the treated areas, multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results, particularly if addressing both fat reduction and skin tightening. Consultation with a Specialist: To determine if BodyTite is suitable for your goals regarding dimpling and stubborn fat in the hips and thighs, schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic provider. They can assess your concerns, discuss treatment options, and recommend a personalized plan based on your anatomy and desired outcomes. In summary, BodyTite can provide effective fat reduction and skin tightening benefits in the hips and thighs, which may help improve the appearance of dimpling and stubborn fat. However, for significant cellulite reduction, other specialized treatments may be considered in conjunction with or instead of BodyTite.

Answer: Considering options An in person examination or photos is needed to give you specific recommendations. From your description you may be a candidate for Aveli which is an FDA approved treatment for cellulite. BodyTite is different and used to help tighten skin. I've included a link to my website which goes into more detail on the procedure.
