I have small lipomas in many areas of my body; on both legs, both arms, the back and the stomach area. I am concerned that removing these via surgery would leave unsightly scars as there are so many of them. I once read that application of 100% aloe vera gel can reduce them in size, and a dermotologist told me that applying heat and a damp cloth can sometimes dissolve them. What is your opinion? Might I see gradual improvements in the size of the lipoma using these methods?

Answer: Is it possible to remove lipoma using a non-surgical method?
Lipomas are benign fatty tumors that occur under the skin and less commonly within the muscle. They are associated with mild discomfort and a lump underneath the skin. It is always best to talk to an expert plastic surgeon to determine whether the lipoma is possibly a cyst or a tumor or hernia....
