Recently I have decided to go forward with my plan to get a bbl. However I was told that my dermos (back piercing) would be a problem since they are directly attached to my skin. Would I be able to get a bbl with my dermos intact?

These foreign bodies may increase the infection risk so some surgeons may take them out prior to surgery.

Piercings are nowadays very common and most plastics surgeons recommend they be taken out before surgery, or during surgery. They are easy to replace after a few months. The real question is who should you go to to get a Brazilian butt lift.  Choose a board certified plastic surgeon who operates at a certified facility and does a ton of Brazilian butt lift and you will be in good hands. Do not be too shy to ask how many BBL's have you done last year doctor. Do not except vague answers and good luck.j

The piercings may interfere with lipo in that specific area, but usually they are superficial enough to not interfere. Review with your surgeon.
