Hi, thank you for your question. PBC is not in and of itself a contraindication for cosmetic surgery. As long as your medical doctor and GI doctor both feel that you are healthy enough for cosmetic surgery, you can get liposuction. The best way to determine if this is the right procedure for you is to visit a board certified plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you decide what needs to be done to achieve your cosmetic goals. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Hello.Great question. You will need a medical clearance from your specialist. A clearance that states you are cleared to undergo a cosmetic surgical procedure. Once obtained, please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.
As long as you're cleared by your primary care doctor and/or specialist, you should be fine getting liposuction. This is true for many patients who have existing medical issues who desire cosmetic surgery. Make sure you're going to a board certified plastic surgeon for your liposuction to ensure safe and reliable results from the cosmetic procedure(s) that you desire.Thank you for your question!Dr. Schreiber, Baltimore plastic surgeon

Hello. Great question. At 12 days post op you have yet to see your final results. Swelling is normal. It can take up to six months for all swelling to go down. Keep following your surgeon’s post op instructions.
Hello dear,In general, you are likely a good candidate for a Liposuction if you have adequate fat stores in other areas to harvest for injection into the buttocks, which in your case seems to be quite the perfect case. İt is suggested that patients with a BMI below 30 are eligible for a fat tra...
Thank you for asking about liposuction, a tummy tuck and an inguinal hernia. You really need a general surgeon's advice -Inguinal Hernias, even small ones, are usually repaired because intestines can become 'incarcerated', i.e. trapped in the hernia and require emergency surgery. Hernia repair ca...
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. After liposuction, the areas treated are not likely to regain fatty fullness, as many fat cells have been removed. These areas have reduced fat storage capacity. However, if weight gain occurs, the fat will be stored in areas...
