Deep labiomental crease and golf ball chin when smiling. (Photo)

Question

My chin is a little round ball there is a circular crease around it when I smile. The golf ball appearance is lessened when Im not smiling. I'm wondering if I need a chin implant to make my chin wider and less ball-like. I've also heard of sliding genioastu, but I'm concerned that my chin will be too narrow and pointy. Please see the variety of photos I've attached.

You have excess chin pad tissue that is not going to be improved by any form of chin augmentation. Based on your current horizontal chin position, further projection would not be beneficial. You need a chin pad debunking done from a submittal approach. This will decrease the excessive chin projection you now have and will soften the ball-like appearance to it.

Adding volume with a chin implant to the a "golf ball chin" may not be beneficial. Removing excess tissue might be a better option. Botox can be used for some patients in this area too. Fillers, such as Juvederm, can help soften the labiomental crease. If you haven't already, then speak with a plastic surgeon to review options with you.Best,Dr. Chaboki

Might use Juvederm filler for creases. As for chin musculofibro fstty tissue, might try injection lipolysis and Botox...

In my opinion, the chin implant is not an option here. Sliding genioplasty will not make your chin more pointy. SG can be designed in a way to enhance your appearance. Please contact a specialist for a full evaluation.
