I am planning on getting jaw implants and possibly some other surgeries in the future. I am 17 and want to get surgery as soon as I can, but do not want to get it under age and will wait till I am 18. So at 17 can I get a consultation, book the surgery, pay with my own money, then proceed with the surgery when I'm 18? or would I have to have a parent/guardian consent even though I'd be the appropriate age when the surgery comes?
