A little blood on the Q tip after cleaning, three month after rhinoplasty. Is this normal?

hello. It was three month after rhinoplasty . And i wake up in the morning,ny nose was a bit staffy, so i took the qtip as ussal, clean what inside, after pull it off i saw abit blood on it, nothing dramtic, but some stains of blood, is it normal after three month?

We almost never use splints because we use a suturing technique to prevent the need for this, but it is a well accepted technique. Typically splints stay in for a week, but perhaps your surgeon was more concerned with scarring because of your anatomy. Hope that helps. Best,Dr. Donath
