Is okay to go tubing after Rhinoplasty?

I had rhinoplasty almost 6 weeks ago, and I'm wondering if going tubing on a boat will affect my nose. You sit upright on the tube with a back rest so there's not much of a possibility of hitting my nose. Thank you.

We almost never use splints because we use a suturing technique to prevent the need for this, but it is a well accepted technique. Typically splints stay in for a week, but perhaps your surgeon was more concerned with scarring because of your anatomy. Hope that helps. Best,Dr. Donath
