Is there any difference during the laser hair removal treatment itself with Candela or Soprano?

Please help me to understand 1) Does the treated area needed to be shaved before the procedure with both machines (Candela 755nm, Soprano 808 nm)? 2) Is it the right information that after Candela (755nm) procedure skin becomes clean and smooth (no need to wait 2-3 weeks). On the other hand, after Soprano treatment you need to wait for 2-3 weeks to have your skin smooth?
