Answer: It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. There should be no issues but it is always best to inform your doctor.
This is something I would take up with the Doctor that performed your surgery. Having redness post surgery 3 weeks after is not a common thing. He should definitely see you if you call and explain this to him/her.
