It's been 35 days since my BA surgery, I am 5'9" and 130 lbs same before surgery, my Dr put me 375cc HP over the muscle, when I have my oppoinments with him, He just sees me laying down, checos my nose (because I had a rinoplasty too) and says that my boobs looks wonderful, but I can not stop thinking that there is something wrong and He can't admit it.
Answer: So Far No Sign of Symmastia Symmastia is a condition which can occur when the implants are too close together. Patients often refer to this as a “uniboob.” Occasionally, the space or pocket for the breast implant is created towards the center, or the tissue stretches, forcing the implants to fall too much towards the center of the breasts. Although your breasts appear close together in the center, it doesn't appear to be a case of #symmastia. Also, it is still quite early into your post-op healing stage. Therefore, what you may be experience is swelling which can be mistaken as symmastia. If you are not satisfied with your #final #results or if there are any concerns, it's best to consult with your plastic surgeon to further discuss your #options.

Answer: Are my breasts too close? Do I have symmastia? Thank you for your question and photos. I would recommend speaking to your plastic surgeon as in-person assessments are always best. If he always sees you while lying down, you can try standing up and pointing out what concerns you exactly. All the best,

Answer: Are my breasts too close? Do I have symmastia? I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation surgery. Although your concerns are understandable, your pictures do not demonstrate symmastia. You are correct in that your breast implants are quite close to the mid line and some skin elevation (tenting) may be present. If, in the long term, we remain concerned about the breast implant positioning ("medial malposition"), additional surgery (capsulorraphy) will be necessary to increase the space between the breast implants. As the position of the breast implants improve, the position of each nipple/areola complex on each individual breast mound will also improve (better centered). You may find the attached link, demonstrating cases of symmastia helpful to your peace of mind. You will also find a separate page, demonstrating medial malposition, helpful to you as well. Best wishes.

Answer: Are my breasts too close? Do I have symmastia? You appear to have large implants for your breast pocket; therefore they are situated very close together. The HP further gives them a very round, stuck on appearance. Best to address your concerns directly with your PS to see how a revision could help you achieve a more natural breast appearance. Good luck!
